Toys - Tinkertoys

It 'was certainly a different idea. Take a wheel, drill some holes around the entire wheel drive, and then some sticks in the wheels. Yes, it was different all right. But they sell it? Well, if you know something Tinkertoys you already know the answer to this. But if not, you might want to read a short story one of the most popular games of all time.

Tinker Toys was the brain child of Charles H. Pajeau and Robert Pettit. These guys metto work while on a train for Chicago. Talk about your chance encounter. Charles was a stonemason and Robert was a merchant. Both hated their work. This was something shared, was that he met. All they needed inspiration.

Pajeau The inspiration came when he saw some children playing with regular pencils and spools of thread. Look at how they put the pins in the coils and then found other objects around the housemix with them. Have you noticed how they take hours away and the compilation of the same parts over and over again. Sun Pajeau decided Petit and agreed to cooperate produced a kit just out of sticks and coils, and wire and pencils that children were with.

Tinker Toys were made.

The design was simple. Charles took a reel, and eight holes around the center, for it would be a vital piece. TheDesign was the principle of progressive Pythagorean triangle. As Steinmetz, Charles knew these things and ultimately contributed to the design of the toy

Well, did these two new toy maker who had a hit on their hands. They decided their company, have toy called "Start The Tinker Toy." They named as such, because basically what they did was tinker with things until they came with what they wanted. Since toys arethat inspired children to do the same thing, they called their first toy "The Tinkertoy.

Unfortunately, they have found a lot of people were interested to market their new toy, especially since there are so many toys already. Thus, in an attempt to attract customers, they share shows in toy stores in the Chicago area. Well, the displays were so successful that soon the demand for these toys has been greater than supply.

What followed over the next 90 yearsis pretty much history. Tinkertoys was a big hit with young children because of their unique design and the endless things that you have to do with the design. The same company was practically the same until it was sold to Hasbro in 1986. The wood pieces were replaced with plastic, but the concept was the same. But in 2000 the pieces of wood and Tinkertoys returned back to its roots.
